Was ist Peppol?

Peppol steht für Pan-European Public Procurement Online und stellt einen offenen Standard mit dem vollständig elektronisch und automatisiert Rechnungs- und Beschaffungsprozesse geschaffen werden können. Peppol ist ein grenzübergreifendes Netzwerk und erlaubt über eine einzige Verbindung mit allen in Peppol registrierten Partnern, den sogenannten Peppol Access Point Provider (Besitec ist ein zertifizierter Access Point Provider), Dokumente auszutauschen. Peppol unterstützt selbstverständlich die Richtlinie 2014/55/EU zur elektronischen Rechnungsstellung bei öffentlichen Aufträgen und ist somit für B2G geeignet, kann aber auch für den B2B Datenaustausch genutzt werden.

Vorteile von Peppol

  • Die Bestell- & Rechnungsprozesse mit u.a. Bestellung, Bestellbestätigung, das Lieferavis und die Rechnung können automatisiert ausgetauscht, erstellt und verarbeitet werden.
  • Die sofortige Zustellung der Bestell- und Rechnungsdokumente verkürzt den Zeitraum der Zahlung und verbessert somit den Cashflow.
  • Zeitaufwändige, manuelle und fehleranfällige Prozesse wie die manuelle Eingabe von Daten in den Systemen entfallen.
  • Die Anbindung von weiteren zukünftigen Peppol-fähigen Partnern ist wesentlich aufwandsärmer.
  • Dank Peppol entfallen viele individuelle Formate und partnerspezifische Übertragungsprotokolle
  • Der Datenaustausch erfolgt über sichere Access Points
  • Die Digitalisierung, hier mit Bezug auf den Austausch von elektronischen Dokumenten, gehört die Zukunft.
  • Im B2G Bereich ist die elektronische Rechnung in vielen Ländern bereits Pflicht. Peppol wurde europaweit von der EU als Schlüssel Netzwerk entwickelt. Vorhanden nationale Systeme und Standards lassen sich mit Peppol integrieren.
  • Das Peppol Netzwerk wächst stark. Haben Sie sich einmal mit Besitec´s Peppol Access Point verbunden vergrößert sich die potenzielle Reichweite zum Austausch Ihrer Dokumente mit Kunden und Lieferanten automatisch.

Wie funktioniert Peppol?

Über das Peppol Netzwerk werden unterschiedliche Nachrichtentypen (z.B. Rechnungen und Bestellungen) in standardisierten Formaten (z.B. BIS Billing 3.0 oder XRechnung) ausgetauscht. Der Austausch im Peppol Netzwerk erfolgt über Access Points. Besitec betreibt einen Peppol Access Point und hat sich zu einem Peppol Access Point Provider zertifizieren lassen. Das „4-Corner-Model“ beschreibt die Funktionsweise des Peppol Netzwerks sehr gut. Peppol integriert Geschäftsprozesse durch Standardisierung wie Informationen strukturiert ausgetauscht werden.
